Cat boarding for Woodford owners
Woodford owners, from Woodford Green to South Woodford, often want a cattery with more personal care than a large boarding centre. We are a straightforward drive round the North Circular, and many Woodford families have been booking with us for years.
Getting to us from Woodford
Our cattery at 54 Frederick Road, Rainham RM13 8NJ is about 11 miles from Woodford, around 25 to 30 minutes by car.
From Woodford, join the A406 North Circular eastbound to the A13, then head east to Rainham; it takes 25 to 30 minutes outside peak times. From Woodford Green, the A1009 to the A406 is usually quickest. Avoid the A406 around the Charlie Brown's roundabout between 8 and 9am if you can.
Caring for Woodford cats
Woodford sits beside Epping Forest, and many local cats are confident explorers used to large gardens backing onto the forest edge. We give them space and enrichment so they do not miss their usual patrol too much.
Booking ahead for Woodford holidays
Woodford families tend to travel at the same times as everyone else, during school holidays, half terms and Christmas. Those are the weeks our suites fill first, so it is worth booking early. If you are heading to Stansted, the M11 from Woodford is quicker, so some owners drop their cat with us the day before. Others prefer our pet taxi so they can pack without worrying about the drive. Either way, we will confirm your booking in writing so you know your cat's place is secure.
