Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated cat lover to join our team. This is a part-time self-employed position. Your primary responsibilities include:

-Feeding and caring for our guests. You are expected to be confident handling cats of all temperaments. You should be able to confidently pick up and hold cats as well as, be able to put them into their carriers.

-Cleaning and maintaining the cattery environment. Keeping our 5 star hotel clean is of upmost importance.. We need someone who is physically fit and able to clean our suites between cat clients. The position is NOT SUITABLE to someone with back issues.

-Providing enrichment and playtime for our feline guests.

-Monitoring health and well-being of our guests. Reporting to the manager and owner of any issues.

-Remain up-to-date with current animal handling practices. It is expected for you to complete CPD annually. But don't worry we can help you with this.

-Assisting with customer enquiries and bookings in person and over the phone.

-Maintaining detailed records of each cat's care.

-Checking cats in/out of our hotel using our computer system.

Requirements: 

-Passion for cats and their well-being.

-Experience in an animal boarding facility is desired but not essential.

-Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

-Good communication and customer service skills.

-Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

-An animal qualification is desired but not essential.

-Physically fit and able to bend up/down to clean rooms.
